West Bromwich Albion are ready to offer star-man, Saido Berahino, a new deal worth around £50k-a-week.

The English striker has been on hot-form for The Baggies this season, netting 14 goals in all competitions, and his performances have caught the eye of several potential suitors.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are the main two said to be interested in the forward, but they may face an uphill battle to sign him now that his current club are prepared to double his weekly-wage.

The 21-year-old is set to be offered a new two-year deal worth £50k-a-week, which would make him one of the club’s highest earners.

Berahino’s superb season has seen him be rewarded with an England call-up from Roy Hodgson and has also seen the club put a £20million price-tag on his head.
