Bologna’s Amadou Diarra may be pushing for a move

Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara has gone ‘AWOL’ from their pre-season training with the it possible that the midfielder has travelled to England for talks with Chelsea and West Ham.

Diawara‘s agent Daniele Piraino and club director Claudio Fenucci met over the player’s decision and a potential sale but only for a fee of around €15 million or more.

The 18-year-old midfielder was subject to a €7.5m bid from Valencia earlier this summer, an offer which included a clause where Bologna were entitled to 20% of any future sale, but the Serie A side declined.

Both West Ham and Chelsea are believed to have had scouts watch the young midfielder last season, while Corriere dello Sport believe that AS Roma, Juventus and Napoli all hold interest in signing the African starlet.
