Swansea City star, Wilfried Bony, has told the club he wants to leave this month, but only to a Champions League club.
The Ivorian striker has been a real star for the Welsh club in 2014, finishing the year as the countries top goalscorer, and his performances and form have caught the eye of several European giants.
Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for the 26-year-old, and according to reports, he has now told officials at Swansea that he wants to leave this month if a big club comes sniffing.
However, he has told the board that he will reject Liverpool because he wants to be in the Champions League.
The Swans rate Bony at around £30million, and it’s believed that clubs will wait until the Summer before they launch formal bids, but Brendan Rodgers looks set to miss out on his target with the club in danger of missing out on the top-four.
