Ray Wilkins has come out and stated that he firmly believes that Fernando Torres will leave Chelsea this summer, after a poor season.

Torres, aged 30 has struggled at Chelsea ever since his ÂŁ50 million move from Liverpool in the January of 2011.

The striker wasted several chances in the 3-1 defeat at PSG on Wednesday, and it also appears that Mourinho is also losing patience.

Torres has been linked with a move back to Atletico Madrid in recent weeks, in a proposed swap deal for Diego Costa.

However, Wilkins slammed the striker whilst on Talksport.

“Torres has no future at Chelsea,’he told talkSPORT. “I think he has seen his time out there.

“He moved from a Liverpool side where he was so successful as an individual to Chelsea, where the style of play is so different.

“He needs the space in behind people in which to run. He needs to make those runs though. He needs to make the players find him.

“Sometimes it is down to the individual. He needs to try and make something happen.”
