The Premier League Trio are all considering launching bids for the Portugal international.
But despite this interest, a move away from Sporting for Carvalho was not forthcoming.
And it was even suggested last month Carvalho was close to signing a new contract at Sporting.
However he refused to confirm entering negotiations with Sporting over extending his stay at Estadio Jose Alvalade and insisted his long-term aspiration is to play in England or Spain.
“We all have ambitions and I hope one day to play in the best leagues in the world, the English or Spanish,” he told the Portuguese Association’s magazine.
“It was not this year, but if I continue to do my job as I have done so, it will certainly come sooner or later.”
Carvalho is contracted at Sporting until 2018, but it is understood he has a £37m buyout clause inserted into that deal.
