Arsenal goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, has got enough on his plate at the moment after his dire performance against Southampton on New Years Day, but things have been made a lot worse for the Pole……by his own Dad.
The Gunners’ number-one was dropped for the FA Cup Third Round tie with Hull City, and despite Arsene Wenger saying it’s only because of the cup competition, it’s reported that Szczesny will not play against Stoke City on Sunday in the Premier League either.
Szczesny has come under scrutiny before due to his crazy antics in the penalty area, and after conceding two sloppy goals against The Saints, he was slaughtered once again by many fans of the club.
However, one person who doesn’t think Szczesny is to blame, is his Dad, who believes Arsenal’s defence is ’embarrassing’, and states his son needs proper coaching.
‘Please look at Arsenal’s defence,’ he said.
‘How are these guys playing? It’s a disaster, but nobody pays attention to it.
‘The Arsenal defence this season is embarrassing. Mertesacker has the agility of a rhino.
‘Wojciech needs support from the coaching staff but doesn’t get any.’
