Usually in football it is the clubs that try and tap up players over a potential move, but in this case, Manchester City’s Yaya Toure has told a radio station that he would join French side Paris Saint-Germain.
The Ivorian, who used to play for FC Barcelona, has become one of Europe’s best midfielders during his time in England, and he has been labelled as ‘the dream signing’ by PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Toure, who signed a new contract at the Etihad Stadium last April, was giving an interview and was asked about his future and in particular PSG, and this is what he had to say:
‘Would I sign for PSG? Why not,’ Toure told RMC.
‘I have great respect for them. In life you never know what will happen.’
