9. Zenit St. Petersburg
Zenit St. Petersburg represent Russia in the Champions League as they have rose to prominence in Europe over the past few years.
Their first Champions League appearance came way-back in 2008-09 though they crashed out in group stages as they were drawn up against giants Real Madrid and Juventus.
Zenit‘s best performance has come when they have reached the round of 16 Â which was in 2012 and 2013 but ended up losing to Borussia Dortmund and Benfica respectively.
