Reasons For Liverpool vs Everton Predictions & Betting Tips
Liverpool are the favourites to win this match with odds of 1.30 with bet365, with local rivals Everton the outsiders at 7.50 with bet365 to take the three points at Anfield.
Up until last week this would’ve looked a real forgone conclusion given how poor Everton have been this season, but their form has improved since Sam Allardyce took over.
The Toffees have won their last three matches after a pretty awful run of form, but now look more structured and purposeful under the typically bullish Allardyce.
However, they face Liverpool at Anfield at arguably the worst time. Their city rivals can’t stop scoring at the moment and look genuinely scary in attack.
Just ask Spartak Moscow, who were on the receiving end of a 7-0 thrashing inspired by the front four of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Philippe Coutinho on Wednesday night.
Given that Everton are without a derby win in over seven years and haven’t won at Anfield since 1999, we can’t look past a Liverpool win at 5.00 with bet365.
The Reds are unbeaten at Anfield this season, whereas Allardyce’s new team have not won away from home in the league yet. A 3-0 home win looks good value at 9.00 with bet365.
As for first goalscorer, take your pick from Liverpool’s front four I guess… and this is just pure guesswork, but we’re going for Roberto Firmino at 5.00 with bet365.
Liverpool vs Everton Form
Liverpool host rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby on Sunday afternoon. Jurgen Klopp’s men are flying at the moment especially in front of goal, but in derby matches form often goes out the window. Everton will be looking for their first win at Anfield since 1999.
Liverpool Form
The Reds have been unstoppable in front of goal in recent weeks and have scored 15 in their last three matches. On Wednesday they beat Spartak Moscow 7-0, with the superb front four of Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah sharing the goals around.

Everton Form
After a very poor start to the season that saw manager Ronald Koeman sacked, the Toffees are looking much improved under Sam Allardyce and have won three matches in a row for the first time in over a year. However, they are yet to win away in the league this season.
