Chelsea reinstated their seven-point cushion at the top of the Premier League table with a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday evening.
Goals from Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Marcos Alonso secure the Blues another three points, Bournemouth pulled back a goal through Josh King, but it wasn’t enough as Chelsea came out on top.
The Blues next travel to Old Trafford to take on the Red Devils, their sternest of six league fixtures between now and the end of the season.
If they return from Old Trafford with their seven-point advantage still intact, they will be a huge step closer to a sixth title and fifth in the Premier League era.
