Goalkeeper wants striker at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted he wants the club to sign AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian international has been strongly linked with a Summer move away from Ligue 1, after spending last year on a season-long loan at Manchester United.

Falcao’s Loss of Form

Despite failing to impress at Old Trafford, scoring just four goals all season, Chelsea are reportedly keen on bringing the striker back to England as Jose Mourinho is keen on helping the star re-find his old-form.

Falcao was dubbed one of the best strikers in the world during his Atletico Madrid and FC Porto days, but he failed to show it in the Premier League.

However, Mourinho is desperate to help the striker and he’s received the support of his number-one as Courtois also wants to see the 29-year-old at Stamford Bridge.

Courtois Wants Falcao

The Belgium star said: “I know Falcao very well. He’s a good man and a very good friend of mine. So if he comes to Chelsea it would be great.

“I don’t know if he will join us because that’s a decision the club has to make. But he would be a very good player for Chelsea.”

Courtois played with Falcao during their time together in Spain with Atletico Madrid.
