Frank Lampard tells Chelsea target to make switch to Stamford Bridge

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has called on Everton’s Ross Barkley to make the switch over to Stamford Bridge

Barkley has been a long time target of the West Londoners, with each year that goes by the speculation that Chelsea will go for him increases.

This year it seems more likely it could actually happen.

And Former Chelsea man Frank Lampard is keen for a deal to be struck and Barkley make the move

“Looking at it from the outside, he’s 23 now and he’s always had pockets of games where he’s done well and we talk about him.”

“His England career has done a bit of that as well because he’s never done that throughout a season, so maybe a change would be good for him.”

“At some stage sometimes, I did it as a young lad at West Ham, you have to try and go out of your comfort zone and try something else. Everton fans might not want to hear that, but everybody moves on.”

Chelsea are yet to make a concrete offer for the England international but it’s looking highly likely the Blues will make him one of their priority signings before transfer deadline.
