“Every player has a price,” said the Manchester United boss.

Manchester United are favourites to sign Arsenal’s superstar, Alexis Sanchez after Manchester City dropped their interest. It is believed that Jose is also willing to give a player+cash in exchange for the Chilean.

Mourinho has now admitted that he could sell Henrik Mkhitarian this month. The 28-year-old could leave Old Trafford if a suitable offer is received.

“My approach to players is that every player has a price – doesn’t matter who he is, the level, doesn’t matter the prestige, the status, every player has a price,” said the United boss.

“And I am not the kind of blind manager. Blind in the sense that this player is untouchable, this player can never be sold. I think every player has a price.”

“So when the transfer window is open it’s also open for any club that is interested in our players. Then it’s up to us to make the decision yes or no. It’s up to us to decide what we think is the right price.”

“But Mkhitaryan played the last match in the FA Cup against Derby. He probably will play the next one against Stoke. He is our player and a very good player. So tomorrow training, then Sunday selected and Monday play.”
