West Ham have joined the race to sign free-agent Gareth Barry.
Barry currently has offers from Arsenal and Everton, but now the Hammers are also interested in the former Manchester City player. Everton, where Barry spent last season on-loan, have offered him £50,000 per week, while Arsenal’s offer is rumoured to be similar. However, Barry knows that his playing time would be more limited at The Emirates.
It is thought that West Ham could be willing to push up their offer to £65,000 per week, and would offer Barry regular football.
