Striker set for move already?

Chelsea striker Loic Remy has been given permission by the club to speak to West Ham United, according to reports.

Frenchman Remy, valued at ÂŁ8m, is being targeted by new Hammers boss Slaven Bilic, who replaced Sam Allardyce in the Upton Park hot seat.

Bilic reportedly has been given ÂŁ25m to spend on transfers and it appears he will spend a chunk of that on Remy, who has largely been behind Diego Costa in the Stamford Bridge pecking order.

Remy has grown more and more frustrated playing second fiddle, and may decide that a move across London this summer would benefit him.

He has only been at Chelsea for one season, scoring nine goals as the Blues won the Premier League, but he is understood to have informed his team-mates that he believes his future lies elsewhere.

Reports say that West Ham have held informal talks with the forward, and he is set to be offered a lucrative package to acquire his services for next season.

Southampton, Swansea City and Crystal Palace have all previously been linked with the striker.
