The ex-Real Madrid manager has reportedly held talks over the job in a London restaurant
Carlo Ancelotti has held talks with Chelsea chiefs over becoming the next Blues manager, according to reports.
The manager – who has managed Chelsea before – is currently on the lookout for a new job and with Jose Mourinho currently enduring a torrid start to the season, Blues officials have reportedly had enough of the Special One.
Simeone and Guardiola also linked
Mourinho has so far seen his Chelsea side suffer seven defeats, which is one of the worst starts to a season at Stamford Bridge ever. It has led to intense speculation regarding his future, with bosses like Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone linked with taking over the hot seat.
However, it is former boss Ancelotti who remains the favourite to take over and if these reports of talks being held in a London restaurant turn out to be true, the Italian could be back in a job sooner rather than later.
