Italian is already planning for life at Stamford Bridge
Antonio Conte is already ‘preparing’ for the Chelsea job, according to former-England manager Fabio Capello.
The Italian is heavily expected to be announced as the next permanent boss at Stamford Bridge, with some reports claiming an announcement could be made by the end of the month.
Conte will continue talks with Roman Abramovich and co. next week ahead of a potential deal being finalised, but the Italy boss is already preparing for the Chelsea job, according to Capello.
It’s believed Conte’s salary is still to be decided, with the two parties not reaching an agreement just yet, but with the job likely to go to Conte, he’s already preparing for life at Stamford Bridge.
Conte ‘Preparing’ For Chelsea
“I think the most important thing will be the team he is able to put on the field. He needs defenders and there aren’t that many around.
“His communication with the players will also be fundamental. I myself had a difficult experience in Russia where I always had to speak through a translator.”
