Arsenal and Manchester United have agreed a deal for striker, Danny Welbeck.
The Englishman has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford all Summer, and was reportedly close to joining Tottenham Hotspur on loan today, but that fell through due to the forward holding out for a move to Arsenal.
The two clubs then began talks, and it originally fell through due to Arsenal and Welbeck wanting a permanent move, and United wanting a loan move.
However, reports have just broken that a ÂŁ16m deal has been agreed in principle between the two clubs, and Welbeck will now hold formal talks with Arsenal.
The two are confident a deal can be done before the deadline.
