Arsenal and Liverpool are rumoured to be interested in Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi.
The 24 year-old has rarely featured in a starting role for Madrid this season, having signed from Real Sorceidad in the summer of 2013.
His lack of playing time in the midfield has alerted both Liverpool and Arsenal, with the defensive midfielder likely to be open for a short-term loan.
Illarramendi has also been a proposed target for Italian Serie A side AC Milan.
