Gunners want to sign injury-prone striker
Arsenal are interested in signing Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, according to reports this morning.
The injury-prone striker faces an uncertain future at Anfield with Jurgen Klopp continuing to doubt his long-term importance to his team due to his injury problems.
Sturridge has barely kicked a ball so far this season, and with Klopp recently admitting he doesn’t know when the striker will return, the club could look to sell over the summer.
When Sturridge is fit and playing, he’s shown how lethal he can be, but with injuries still causing him to miss the majority of the season, some reports are claiming that Liverpool are ready to cash in.
Shock Arsenal Bid
If they do choose to sell, they could be met with a shock offer from Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Despite having injury problems of their own, Arsenal are reportedly interested in luring Sturridge to the Emirates Stadium, and could lodge a formal bid at the end of the season.
Arsene Wenger wanted to sign the striker back in 2013, but despite missing out on him three years ago, he’s still remained a huge admirer of the striker.
