Chelsea and Manchester United still keen on the Belgian star
Arsenal are preparing themselves for life after Arsene Wenger as the manager will leave the club at the end of the season. The Gunners are expected to have a busy summer not only in search for a new manager but also to overhaul their squad.
Arsenal are already linked with host of managers but according to reports Luis Enrique is set to replace Wenger next season. One of the reason why former Barcelona manager is strongly linked is the Gunner’s preference for a youth Head Coach.
And Enrique’s arrival could help Arsenal to land one of the best midfielders in the world. The English giants are the latest club to show an interest in Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to The Sun.
Enrique is a big admirer of the Belgian and wants to make him his first signing to begin the revolution at Arsenal. According to reports the club may have to splash upwards of £45 million in order lure him away from Italy.,
The 29 year old has just signed a new contract with the Italian giants and is still a valuable asset for the club but they may be forced to sell him in order balance the books.
Nainggolan has excelled again this season helping his team to reach Champions League Semi Final where they face Liverpool.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on him ahead of the summer transfer window.
