Arsenal open talks with Theo Walcott

Arsenal have reportedly opened contract talks with Theo Walcott.

The winger’s future has been dominating headlines over the past few weeks, with the club refusing to open extension talks with him after just coming back from a long-term injury.

However, according to reports, Arsenal have now started brief discussions with Walcott’s representatives and the two parties are now ready to sort out a deal for the future.

Walcott’s situation has been monitored by both Liverpool and Chelsea as they are reportedly interested in signing the 26-year-old, but the latest news will come as a blow as it looks like he may commit his future to the North London club.

Some reports were suggesting a swap deal could be in place with Raheem Sterling, but Arsene Wenger is determined to keep with Walcott.
