Arsenal target Carlos Bacca has confirmed he will leave AC Milan this summer.
Throughout the past few transfe windows Arsenal have been linked with a move for Carlos Bacca, who has now said he will be leaving AC Milan this summer.
Tutto Mercato Web report that the Colombian will leave the Italian giants this summer and that Arsenal could still be very interested in bringing him to North London.
Alexis Sanchez has been Arsenal’s best forward this season, but speculation has risen regarding his potential exit from Arsenal, with many fans believing he will leave in the summer.
Arsene Wenger could turn back to Bacca as a potential replacement if Sanchez does indeed choose to head to the exit door.
Bacca has 40 caps for Colombia and played a big role in the first two of three Sevilla Europa League wins.
The link seems to suggest that there is more interest on the side of Bacca than that of Arsenal, but with the London side having been interested in the Colombian in the past, it is possible they will once again choose to try and bring Bacca in, making these rumors more difficult to dismiss than before.
While Bacca is perhaps not the highest profile option Arsenal could look at, he will certainly be a far cheaper alternative to a big name up front, and could possibly still get the job done for the Gunners.
