Darmian is top of Arsenal’s transfer shortlist
According to Goal,Arsenal are confident of bringing Darmian to North London this Summer. Arsene Wenger is desperate to bring defensive reinforcements ahead of the 2018-2019 season as his team continues to struggle in that position.
Hector Bellerin’s future in constant doubt as he continues to be linked with a move away from the North London Giants with Juventus and Barcelona in the race to sign him. Wenger has identified Darmian to replace him. Arsene Wenger is a big admirer of the full back.
Although Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has urged his former club to fend off the advances of Barca for Bellerin this summer. ‘I’d be amazed if Arsenal sold Bellerin. He’s still a young player, he’s still learning and he wants to learn,’ he told talkSPORT. ‘I still think defensively he has to get better, but he can get better.
Since joining Manchester United in 2015,Darmian has an unconvincing spell at the club.He has just made 13 appearances this season and Mourinho is open to the idea of selling him as he looks to bolster his side.He has also been linked with a move to Juventus .The 28 year is in contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2019.
