Arsenal said they will scrutinize CCTV footages to catch hold of the missile thrower at Dele Alli in the north London derby.

The English midfielder was hit by a plastic bottle that came from the crowd but thankfully was not hurt.

Arsenal have declared that they will scrutinize the CCTV footages available from the match against Tottenham Hotspur to find out the person who is guilty of throwing a plastic bottle towards Spurs midfielder Dele Alli, who guided his side to a 2-0 victory in the League Cup clash at the Emirates Stadium. The Englishman was, however, not hurt from the strike.

Speaking about the incident, Dele said, “It is what it is. It made the goal a little bit sweeter and the win.”

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino also gave his view about the incident and said, “It was lucky that it wasn’t a big issue.” He added, “For me, okay we play a derby and we hate each other in a good way but that is in a bad way when you go to damage some people or an opponent. I cannot talk in general because only one stupid person made a mistake. I respect the Arsenal fans, like I respect the professionals from Arsenal and I respect our fans. For one you cannot talk about everyone. I hope that Arsenal take responsibility and through the camera they can identify because it wasn’t a problem but it can happen to be a big problem.”

This was Arsenal’s second loss in a row after they were beaten by Southampton in the Premier League at the weekend for the first time after a 22 matches unbeaten run in all competitions.
