Mohamed Elneny is expected to make a move this January.

The Egyptian midfielder was expected to leave for free in the summer when his contract expires with Arsenal.

Turkish clubs Galatasaray, Besiktas, and Trabzonspor are interested in the Egyptian’s services according to transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano.

Elneny has struggled for game time since the arrival of Declan Rice this summer limiting the Egyptian to only four matches across all competitions.

The 31-year-old midfielder has entered the final six months of his Arsenal contract and is one of the longest-serving players in the current squad.

Several Saudi Pro clubs are also actively monitoring his situation and could tempt Elneny with a lucrative contract in January.

Elneny is a well-respected figure at the club and is popular with the fanbase and is undoubtedly an underrated member of the team.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Mohamed Elneny has caught the attention of few Turkish clubs.

“Mo Elneny, attracting concrete interest from Trabzonspor but also more clubs are keen on signing him. Besiktas, Galatasaray and Saudi clubs are exploring conditions of the move,” Romnano posted on X.

If he leaves in January, it will make some space in the squad for another midfielder to join but his sale will hardly raise any significant amount of funds.
