Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has reportedly given the green light for the club to offer Real Madrid assistant manager, Paul Clement, the job once he retires.
Reports broke earlier in the week that Clement is on the list of potential replacements for the Frenchman once he decides to call it a day, and it’s believed that Wenger has given his backing to the board about hiring the Madrid assistant.
Clement, who has had spells with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and now Madrid, has never been a manager before, but has a massive reputation in the game and has coached some of the best players in world football.
It’s believed that Wenger will step down at the end of next season, with Clement taking over permanently.
