Atletico Madrid have been offered Ezequiel Lavezzi

Paris Saint-Germain are set to offer Chelsea and Liverpool target Ezequiel Lavezzi to Spanish champions Atletico Madrid.

The French giants are desperate to lose some of their high-earners in order to meet regulations of Financial Fair Play, and Lavezzi is just one of the stars expected to leave the club this Summer.

Despite the FFP coming in, PSG have still spent mega-money on signing David Luiz from Chelsea, and are also trying to wrap up a deal for Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid, and that is why they are offering Lavezzi, in order to raise some funds and free up the wage-bill.

It’s also believed that Edinson Cavani could be for sale as well.

According to reports in Spain, Atletico’s CEO has flown out to France in order to hold talks with the Ligue 1 champions and they are currently discussing a potential deal for the 29-year-old.

This will come as a blow to both Chelsea and Liverpool, who have been monitoring Lavezzi for some time now as they both look to strengthen their squads for next season.

The Argentine can play down the wing and also up-front, and he netted 12 goals last season for PSG.
