Lewis Baker has revealed the real reason for leaving Leeds United.

The on-loan Chelsea player has chosen to opt for Reading and has left Leeds United.

Lewis Baker has said that he wants more game time and that is why he has left Leeds United to join Reading. The player has been handed only two games in the first half of the season, having appeared from Chelsea on loan in the summer transfer window. This has forced the player to make a move out of Elland Road and join Reading, who are currently placed in the last but one position in the league table.

When asked about his decision to join the club, Baker revealed that he is looking for more game time. Speaking to the club’s official website, the player said, “It’s the right time for me to come here, to get as much game time as possible. I think that’s what I need at the moment. If anyone knows me personally and knows how much I love football they know I just want to play.”

Leeds United are currently placed at the top of the table in the Championship under the tutelage of Marcelo Bielsa and are tipped to make a comeback into the top flight in the next term.
