Barcelona are reportedly willing to offer Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho along with to PSG in exchange for Neymar.
Several reports have linked Neymar to a departure from PSG and a most recent one from Mundo Deportivo states that he is considering other options apart from Barca that include Manchester United, Juventus, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
According to a report from MARCA, PSG value Neymar at no less than €222 million, the price which they paid Barcelona to land the Brazilian. The report also stated that Barcelona did not want Ousmane Dembele or Philippe Coutinho as a part of that deal.
Barcca however, are eager to sign Neymar and according to L’Equipe, the Blaugrana are offering PSG €40 million along with Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho to land the 27-year old. However, PSG are not willing to accept this proposal from Barcelona.
Neymar had a very successful spell at Barca, netting 105 goals and providing 76 assists in 180 appearances across all competitions. He left Camp Nou to join PSG on a world record transfer fee of €222 million. Injuries have prevented Neymar from playing the entirety of both of his seasons at PSG. So far, he has 51 goals and 29 assists in 58 appearances across all competitions for PSG.
Neymar wants a return to Barcelona but PSG don’t seem to accept anything less than €222 million. Barcelona did two big money transfers during the summer in Frenkie de Jong and Antoine Griezmann. Hence, it will be very difficult for them to pay €222 million to sign Neymar. The best Barcelona can do now to sign Neymar is offload some of their players to raise funds.
