According to reports from The Mirror, Barcelona are ready to cash in on Brazilian winger Malcolm this summer. The 22-year-old joined from AS Roma just a year ago, but has failed to live up to the club’s expectations.

Malcolm has had a solid pre-season with Barcelona and is said to be happy in Spain. However, the Catalans are doubtful about the minutes he would get at Nou Camp if he stays.

The Blaugrana have slapped a €45m price tag on the attacker and will look to sell him to a club who meets their needs. English sides Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham are said to be keen on acquiring his services.

German outfit Borussia Dortmund had reportedly launched a €37.5m bid for Malcolm. Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg also remain interested in his signature. If the player wishes to move to the Premier League, he ha sonly two weeks to finalise a transfer with the window slamming shut on 8th August in England.

Barca are keen on offloading Malcolm as it would also free up a Non-EU space in the squad, which would come handy if they make a last-ditch attempt for Neymar.

Following a 2-0 victory over Japanese side Vissel Kobe, the Catalan giants are preparing to face Arsenal in the Joan Gamper Trophy Final this Sunday.
