Bayern Munich targeting Khedira

Bayern Munich are developing a plan to beat both Arsenal and Chelsea to the signing of Real Madrid midifielder Sami Khedira.

Bayern are keen in bringing the German back to the Bundesliga but won’t be making a bid this summer, instead they will try and persuade him to play out the final year of his contract at Madrid, and move to the Allianz next summer on a free transfer.

Reports in Spain are suggesting that Bayern are more than willing to hand Khedira a contract next summer if he wants it, in order to pay no fee for him.

Chelsea hve had long term interest in Khedira, even though it has been Arsenal who seem to have been more determined to sign him this summer.

However, the player’s wage demands have thus far proved a stumbling block to any deal being completed.

Reports in recent days suggest that Khedira may be willing to drop his demands to push through a move.

But Bayern’s offer is sure to appeal to the 27-year-old and he could now just wait things out before making a move next summer.
