Bayern Munich have managed to attract yet another youngster into their comb of honey – Kai Havertz.
The Bundesliga sensation is only 19 years old and is already wreaking havoc across the league. Havertz has already scored 7 goals and registered 6 assists in 21 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this season.
One of the hottest young talents in Europe and Munich already has the edge over the rest in signing him. According to Sport Bild‘s Christian Falk, Havertz considers the Allianz Arena to be the best place to further grow in his playing career since he plans on staying in his own home nation in the near future.
Reports suggest that Barcelona have backed off their interest to sign the attacking midfielder since hearing about his desire to join Bayern. Havertz has already been capped for Germany at senior level twice and 30 times at youth level.
He is versatile with his positioning on the attacking front and remarkable confident on the ball. He seamlessly works his way around the opposition defence and is quickly learning to be a step ahead of the rest while on the pitch, like most world-class midfielders.
There is no ceiling over the German’s potential and Munich could snap up yet another wonderkid for themselves for an estimate of €60m-€80m in the current market.
