Berahino: I want to move on to bigger things

Both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on West Bromwich Albion man Saido Berahino.

The striker has admitted he would like to move on to better his career in the future. Despite this, he insists his intial focus will be helping to secure West Brom’s Premier League survival.

Tony Pulis’ Albion side currently sit three points above the relegation zone in 15th place, with a big relegation six-pointer away at Burnley coming up this Sunday.

Berahino said: “I need to stay focused on what I’m doing right now which is scoring the goals and keeping West Bromwich in the Premier League.”

He also added: “If I can keep them in the Premier League and score as much goals as I can, I’m pretty sure the fans wouldn’t mind me pushing on and moving on to bigger things.”

The 21-year old has scored 14 goals in 28 appearances in all competitons this campaign. Averaging a goal every two games.
