Borussia Dortmund Sporting Director, Michael Zorc claims Jadon Sancho will not be sold anytime soon.

A number of clubs are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old starlet jumped into the spotlight last season with impressive displays on the pitch. Sancho has been even more impressive this season managing 7 goals and 10 assists in 24 appearances for BVB. At some point of the campaign, he even was the leading assist maker in all of Europe.

Despite being only 18, the Englishman was called up by Gareth Southgate to make his debut for the senior national side. Dortmund signed Sancho for ÂŁ8m from Manchester City and has already converted him into their starting winger.

Zorc said, “We are convinced that we are the best option for him to keep developing. He’s not finished yet. Not by a long stretch. And he will certainly play with us next year, come what may.”

While Sancho’s maturity and footballing development are miles ahead of others in his age group, he certainly is not a finished product yet. Dortmund are proven in player development and recently sold off Christian Pulisic to Chelsea to open up further opportunities for the teenager.

Sancho himself is happy at the Signal Iduna Park and said, “I just want to play football and I’m getting that opportunity here. I’m happy right now.”

“(The language barrier) worried me quite a lot, but when I came and everyone started speaking English I got more comfortable,’ Sancho admitted. ‘My German isn’t the best but I’m learning, I have to learn.”

“I’ve adapted really well. Obviously, when I first came it was a bit difficult because I’m not around the corner from my house.”
