Calum Chambers summer transfer from Southampton to Arsenal is set to be investigated by the Football Association, according to the Daily Mail.

The ÂŁ16 million deal for the 20-year-old was completed in the summer, and is now said to be under question by the full-backs management company.

Chambers, who has made 29 appearances for Arsenal this season, is contracted to Cassius Sports management, with the head of talent ID at the company, Steve Moss, who is Chambers’ step-father.

There is no law suggesting that the transfer broke any outstanding rules, however both Arsenal and Southampton have been made aware of the third party’s intentions.

The former Southampton academy starlet has also made his senior England bow in recent months, in October’s win over San Marino at Wembley.
