The pressure is mounting on Jose Mourinho as Chelsea sit in 15th place

Fabio Capello has claimed he would be open to managing Chelsea if Mourinho left the club.

The ex-England manager is one of the names being linked with the Stamford Bridge job if the Special One leaves the club. Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola are two other names being linked.

Capello currently has no job

Now, the Italian has openly spoken about the Blues managerial position, as he said: “Is my future at Chelsea? I do not miss the bench, but if something interesting comes along, why not?

“At this moment, I’m still in Russia, in Moscow. For now, I haven’t heard anything or received any [offers] but if something interesting does come along then why not?”

Capello is currently without a job after being let go by the Russian national team in the summer. With Mourinho under increasing pressure at Chelsea, the Premier League could very well be his next destination.
