Italian admits you have to be prepared to go anywhere as a manager

Former-Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he WOULD be willing to make a return to Stamford Bridge, despite being sacked by Roman Abramovich.

The Italian manager won the double at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea, but was then sacked the following season after a poor start to the new campaign, similar to Jose Mourinho‘s situation as we speak.

However, as reported earlier, Abramovich is yet to sack Mourinho because he believes the fans are still on his side despite the shocking start to the new season.

Despite this, it’s reported that the Russian owner has given the manager two games to save his job. Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League and Stoke City in the Premier League.

With Mourinho’s future uncertain, several names have been linked with taking over and Ancelotti has been one of them.

With some people suggesting he wouldn’t be prepared to return to the club which sacked him, it looked like the former-Real Madrid manager wouldn’t be an option.

However, Ancelotti himself has refused to rule out a shock reunion.

Ancelotti Prepared for Reunion

“In football you have to be ready to go anywhere,” Ancelotti told Sky Sport Italia.

“The English league has fascinated me a lot, but I’m willing to go anywhere.

“Chelsea or Bayern? At the moment it’s just gossip and nothing more.

“Mourinho has difficulties, but Chelsea have taken a clear decision to back him, and they’ve done well to do so.

“Guardiola has no problems at Bayern and has no reason to change.

“Could I go back to Chelsea? That’s a trick question, the Blues already have a manager to solve their problems.”
