The Blues could table a £7.1m bid for the Stuttgart man
Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a move for Antonio Rudiger.
The Stuttgart man has a buy-out clause in his current deal, according to reports from Germany, meaning that he could leave the club this summer.
Interest from Europe
With several top European teams interested, it seems likely that he could therefore be on his way out of the exit door soon. AS Monaco and Wolfsburg are two teams considering bids but it is the Blues who currently lead the way for his signature.
The 22-year old has impressed in the Bundesliga during the 2014/15 season and the fact that he still remains so young only adds to the interest in him – there is room for him to become even better.
With the buy-out clause believed to be just £7.1m as well, Jose Mourinho is believed to be very keen on doing a deal and the Special One will look to try and tie up a deal for the centre-back as soon as possible.
