Blues reportedly ready to offer Loic Remy and £15million

According to reports, Chelsea are prepared to offer Lyon £15million plus Loic Remy in exchange for Alexandre Lacazette.

The French striker has been superb for the Ligue 1 season this campaign, scoring 26 goals in 30 league games, and his performances have caught the eye of both Arsenal and Liverpool.

However, according to reports this morning, Chelsea are now showing interest in signing the 23-year-old and could make Lyon a player+cash deal.

Striker Wanted

Jose Mourinho is desperate to sign a new striker in order to help out Diego Costa and it’s believed he isn’t totally impressed with Remy during his debut season.

Chelsea paid £8m for Remy from Queens Park Rangers over the Summer but he has struggled to break into the first-team and also has injury concerns.

Player-Swap Deal

According to reports, Chelsea are prepared to do a player-swap deal and will offer Lacazette a contract worth around £48k-a-week.

The Blues are prepared to offer £15m plus Remy, taking the deal to over £20m.

Lacazette Plans Stay

However, earlier this week, Lacazette confirmed that his plans are to stay at Lyon and insists that he has no plans on leaving the club over the Summer, despite the interest from the Premier League.

Despite the comments, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool will all enquire about the striker at the end of the season.
