Despite the International star saying that he didn’t want to move from his current club, reports out of Italy now claim Radja Nainggolan could leave for Chelsea as AS Roma failed to meet the terms he set out on a new contract.
The Blues are reportedly now ready to submit a THIRD bid and offer Nainggolan £4.8million a year.
Chelsea’s previous two offers were rejected by the Serie A club, but now after Nainggolan’s comments, It looks as if the Blues have been given the all clear to try again.
It was only last week that Roma manager Luciano Spalletti stated that the 28-year-old will not leave AS Roma and will remain loyal to the club, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.
When asked if he was open to the idea of a new deal on his Roma contract, Nainggolan told Sky Sports: “I said I love where I’m playing so why not?
“The Premier League is another good competition, but I think sometimes in life you need to make choices.
“I don’t know what will be my future but I just can say that where I am I’m happy.”
And now it is understood that Chelsea are preparing a third offer for Nainggolan.
