Spain international Cesc Fabregas has been told he can leave Barcelona this summer if the right price was offered and Manchester United and Arsenal are keen to land his signature.
It has now emerged however that Chelsea are interested in signing the ex-Arsenal man as Jose Mourinho looks to add some creativity to his midfield.
Mourinho has been given permission to spend big on one player this summer and despite Diego Costa being linked with Chelsea, Fabregas becomes the main target.
Mourinho is weighing up his opening bid but reportedly won’t spend more than around £25million to sign the Spaniard.
The Blues are set for a busy summer as key players are continuously linked with a move to Stamford Bridge including Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa, Remy Cabella of Montpellier and a full-back to replace Ashley Cole.
