Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is said to be considering a move for Watford’s Brazilian winger Richarlison, according to reports in the Sunday papers today.

The 20 year-old caught the Italian manager’s eye when the Hornets played at Stamford Bridge back in October, where he provided an assist in an eventual 4-2 defeat for his side.

Richarlison joined Watford for £11.2million from Fluminense in the summer, and has been one of the breakout stars of the Premier League season. So far he has 4 goals and 3 assists in 11 appearances at Vicarage Road.

The Brazilian recently revealed in an interview that he has a good friendship with compatriots and Chelsea stars David Luiz and Willian, which could help accelerate a move Stamford Bridge.

“I’m always at David [Luiz]’s house,” he told the Mail on Sunday. “We’re always together. We play video games, snooker. Who wins? Me!”

Watford will not want to sell cheaply, and with Tottenham Hotspur also said to be interested, a bidding war could break out for the youngster’s signature.
