Chelsea are set to annoy Real Madrid by making a move for their talented starlet, Alvaro Medran, who has been dubbed ‘the next Modric’.
The 20-year-old is one of the hottest youngsters in Europe at the minute after being promoted to Madrid’s first-team by manager, Carlo Ancelotti, but despite his promotion, Medran could still be on his way out in January.
According to reports, Chelsea will launch a formal bid for him in January and are feeling confident that they can wrap up a deal for the starlet.
Jose Mourinho knows the Spaniard well due to his time at the Bernabeu, and he is keen to drive the deal forward and get the deal done with Madrid stalling on offering a new and improved contract after his first-team promotion.
