Chelsea are leading the race to sign midfielder Gabriel Moscardo.
The Blues are ready to rival several Premier League and European clubs for teenage sensation Gabriel Moscardo.
The 18-year-old midfielder has attracted attention from some of the elite clubs in Europe and is dubbed as one of the hottest prospects in South America.
The Brazilian wonderkid rose through the ranks at Corinthians and made his first-team debut earlier this year.
So far the midfielder’s progress hasn’t gone unnoticed as he amassed 1000 minutes of game time for the Brazilian side.
Chelsea initially tried to sign the teenager towards the end of the summer window but a late bid was not accepted by the Brazilian club.
They had their £18m bid for him rejected but will revisit with a better offer this January.
Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested in his signature and it will be interesting to see where the teenage sensation plies his trade in the January transfer window.
Barcelona are very keen to get a deal done to fill the void left by club legend Sergio Busquets.
