Chelsea are starting to prepare for a life without Antonio Conte in it.
It is believed that the Italian will leave at the end of the season. The Italian has guided the Blues to the Premier League trophy last season, in his 1st season in-charge.
However, the boss never managed to have a good relationship with the Chelsea hierarchy and it never seemed as if it would get better.
And now the Blues believe that he will leave in the summer. The Blues are wasting no time and have started to line up his replacement.
It is claimed that Juventus manager Max Allegri and former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique are the leading contenders. Allegri has a contract until the end of 2020 and Chelsea are going to find it difficult to get him.
Enrique quit as Barcelona manager last summer. He’s thought to be interested in working in the Premier League.
Also under consideration is Maurizio Sarri, the current boss of Serie A leaders Napoli. The name of Diego Simeone has also come up, but Chelsea believe that he will be tough to prise away from Atletico Madrid.
Conte has been strongly linked with taking over at Paris St Germain and it could well be from this summer.
