Chelsea Football Club have reached a verbal agreement with Spanish side Atletico Madrid regarding the future of in-form striker Diego Costa, and this could see the Spaniard come to the Premier League in the Summer.
Reports in Spain are claiming that Jose Mourinho is eager to sign the striker and is willing to match his £32million release clause which is in his contract, and an agent from Spain has also confirmed that Madrid know they face losing their star-asset.
‘Atletico knows it is impossible to hold [onto Costa],’ he said.
Costa, who has been on fire so far this season in La Liga, has been closely monitored by Arsenal, who are also eager to strengthen their attacking department, but if reports are to be believed, it looks like the Brazilian-born striker, who wants to play for Spain, could be on his way to The Bridge.
