Striker set to sign this week!
Chelsea are on the verge of signing Monaco striker Radamel Falcao and will announce the signing soon.
The Blues have been in advanced talks with Falcao’s representatives for the last couple of days after Manchester United decided not to make his loan move permanent due to the 29-year-old failing to impress Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is looking for a player with world class ability put pressure on Diego Costa being the club’s first-choice striker and reports in Spain claim a deal is ‘all but finalised’.
Announcement Expected
The announcement it is expected to be made within the next week, with the Blues agreeing a £25million deal with Monaco over the Colombia international rather than Falcao being on another season-long loan.
However, Chelsea face tough competition for the striker’s signature as Liverpool are also keen on Falcao, but it is believed that Falcao would rather live in London.
