Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton have all been put on alert after Manchester City are prepared to let half-a-dozen players go this upcoming summer transfer window.

City boss, Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that his squad will need to be assesed, after UEFA implemented a wage and spending cap, this coming after City broke Financial Fair Play regulations (FFP).

It is understood that City have nearly secured the signing of Arsenal right-back, Bacary Sagna on a three-year deal. The player is expected to earn ÂŁ150,000 a week at the club, which would see his wages being doubled to what he is currently earning at Arsenal.

With the arrival of Sagna, it will mean that Pellegrini will make judgements to who is surplus to requirements at the Etihad.

Gareth Barry has been watched by a whole host of clubs abroad, but it is Everton and Tottenham who are willing to sign the player in the summer. Barry enjoyed a successful loan spell at Goodison and it is likely Everton will persue the player as soon as the window opens.

Micah Richards is being watched very closely by Arsenal, who will seek a replacement for Sagna. Richards admitted on social media that his time was up at City and Arsenal are ready to offer the player an escape route from the club.

Defender, Joleon Lescott has been subject of interest from Aston Villa in the later parts of the season and with his contract not be to renewed at City, Aston Villa will persue the player’s signature.

Goalkeeper, Costel Pantillimon and out-of -favour Scott Sinclair are all expected to be told to move on. Jack Rodwell is said to be given a chance to prove his worth, as the club are willing to send him out on loan next season.
