‘We’re ready to talk to them about it’
Borussia Monchengladbach chief has admitted that star player and Chelsea loanee Andreas Christensen wants to play for the Blues- and that he is ready to talk to the Premier League side about it.
The Dane is into second year of being on loan in Germany. He has impressed in both the Bundesliga and Champions League.
And while Gladbach want to keep him until the end of the season, it’s thought that Chelsea have big plans for him.
Sporting director Max Eberl isn’t confident of striking a deal with the Premier League giants.
“It will be hard work,” he told Sky Germany.
“I hope it can happen, but I do not know if we’re going to buy him. Probably not.
“Perhaps there are other options to consider. We need to talk to Chelsea.
“Andreas is very attached to Chelsea. He also says that if he gets the chance to play for Chelsea, he’ll go back.”
Christensen made just three appearances for the Blues before Jose Mourinho sent him off to Germany for his two-season stay.
